Best Android Arcade Games

I'm always trying to find new arcade games to play on my phone. They're my favorite! They're easy to learn and fast enough to play when you only have a couple minutes to spare (or waste!). These are just a few if you have any that you enjoy make sure to leave a comment!

1. 2 Cars
Don't miss a circle. Don't touch a square. Those are the 2 rules. Sounds simple enough? If you get over 10 on your first try I'm jealous. This game definitely takes time to get used to. You must control 2 cars simultaneously as you drive along the "road" you have 2 lanes for each car. Sometimes there will be circles and if you miss one it's game over, but sometimes there will be squares and if you touch one it's game over. My roommate and I are always have competitions to see who can make it the farthest (she usually wins).

2. Fruit Ninja
A game that has been around a long time, but I still love to play it. Fruit ninja is a perfect description of what you're going to be doing--slicing fruit. There are different game modes: classic, zen, and arcade. My personal favorite is arcade. I'll explain each of the game modes to you briefly. Classic the object is to slice as all the fruit (don't let any fall unsliced). If 3 pieces of fruit fall without being sliced it's game over. But, you must also avoid the bombs which are an instant game over. In zen mode you can drop as much fruit as you want and no bombs will come and upset you. It's just slice as much fruit in 90 seconds. Arcade mode gives you a time limit but also gives you power ups to help earn more fruit such as freeze, combo, and double points.

3. Zig Zag
Like most of these games a very simple game. Not difficult to learn. At first you may be confused and unsure of what you're supposed to do since there aren't any instructions (but that also makes it fun). The object of the game is to get your ball as far down the line as possible while collecting the purple crystals. There are no buttons to push and no screens to turn. To make your way down the line just tap your screen. Every time you tap your screen you'll switch directions. The more times you tap the more points you score. You'll also earn points by collecting the purple crystals.

4. Fall Down
You start as a little ball at the top. Once the game starts you want to aim for the gaps and try to escape the top of the screen that is moving towards you, trying to squish you. Along the way there will be power ups but you'll have to move faster to stay alive! The longer you live the more points you get, you can set up little goals for yourself to. The color of the path changes the longer you survive.

5. Super Core
Protect the core! That is the one thing you have to do! I just recently got this game so I haven't had a lot of time to play around with it yet, but I've gotten the general hang of it and I know I'll be playing it non-stop by tomorrow. The object you are controlling is a little smaller than a semi-circle, you must protect the core on all sides from blocks that are coming in. Press and hold on the right side of the screen to rotate to the right and on the left to rotate left. Pretty easy right? Difficulty starts at medium and goes to triple skull, whatever that is.

6. Jelly Jump
Beware of the mysterious black liquid! As a piece of jelly you want to jump as high as you can and try not to be caught by the black liquid that is making it's way towards you. Bars will come in on both sides of the screen above you. You want to jump right before they meet to make it to the next level. Continue doing this, some of the bars will come together slowly others quickly, but if you play enough you get the hang of it since it's the same every time.

7. Skyward
Another simple but addicting game. Make your way along the path as a red and a blue dot. One of the dots will always be stationary while the other will spin around. You always want to land on the path so have patience and wait for the right moment to tap and place the moving dot down. The path will start to climb and some of the pieces will start moving back and forth. At first it's hard to see where the dot should be placed but with practice it gets easier.
